Knowledge Level: Expert but stumped
Problem: Hardware
Computer Type: Power Computing
Model: PowerTower Pro 200
RAM: Not related
RAM Enhancer: None
OS Version: System 7.6.1

Description:
my hard drive wasn't mounting by itself, even after I booted with the CD. I dismantled my machine, sprayed the connections with coolant, and everything started up after a false alarm. Would the humid weather cause some of these problems?

Thanks

did you, see droplets/feel slick moisture, in the interior of the unit? if not, then it is not likely that the humidity was the cause of the problem.

the FWB driver that PCC used, may have lost its bearings. what is the status of the bit map and the directory blocks on the unit?

Easy way to test theory. steam up the bathroom and put unit in there for a few minutes. remove and let stand for awhile. start computer. what happens?
