Description:
My 6115CD has only a 350 Meg internal hard drive, which I need to upgrade to something bigger. I would like to replace the internal drive, rather than add an external drive because of the lower cost. The SCSI buss in this computer is 50 pin and my question is, because of being a 50 pin instead of 68 pin will only Ultra SCSI drives work with my computer. I am assuming Wide Ultra and Wide Ultra SCSI2 drives are not compatiable with my computer, because they all seem to be 68 pin drives.

Are there any other problems I may encounter in trying to replace my current small hard drive with a 4.5 Gig, 7200 RPM Drive.

Thank you for your help.

Hi Ray, welcome to Nowonder, I'm robertw.
This is true. You're limited to a 50 pin Ultra SCSI drive.
