The 6400/180 is a bear to open.
First, You have to first remove the back screw that holds the TOP cover on.
Second, you have to carefully pry the front panel for the expansion bay off.
Then you can remove the large front panel by squeezing the pins from the bottom of the case.
the front panel has to be removed to gain access to the hard drive.
Last, you can slide the hard drive out, by squeezing the plate holders.
You may want to see if there's a PDF file at APPLE, but I don't think there is. The reason being that APple does not want "users" to mess around with the hardware. They want you to take it in and spend more money. If you have some mechanical inclinati9on, you should be able to open up the case in about a half hour with trial and error procedures and the directions I provided.
If not, let me know and I'll try to see if I can find something else.
Good luck,
Carlos
