TICKET ARCHIVE -> Having Problem Installing Dvd Drive Into Powermac G4

Ok! I know it shouldn't be any big deal. And I have read comments posted by bradelectro March 13th, 2005... but I still cant even open the slot for the DVD drive. I bought Pioneer 109 drive today, and am sitting here with the Mac open and the drive on the table, and scratching my head.
I don't know where to open the slot to put the drive in it.
Does anybody have a picture or a drawing to the inside of Mac G4 so that I can find the screws where I am supposed to unscrew.

Please help!

Hello Gotti,

which G4 do want to put the DVD drive into? Doesn't your Mac have a CD drive? When I replaced my CD burner with a Pioneer DVD burner I substituted the CD for the DVD drive.

I actually managed on my own. I just get so frustrated and call every mac owner I know for the smallest matter, and no one answered yesterday. But I figured it out.
