Is it possible to use the 23" or 30" display as a TV? How? Since there is only a DVI input, what is needed?

You neee something like an Elgato EyeTV 500 (there are a couple of other companies as well, but I don't recall their names) which connects to your Macintosh via Firewire and to your cable from your wall. It's simple, elegant and not too expensive. Elgato has a nice website which explaints all the details and EyeTV software is stable and reliable. I have an EyeTV 200 (which doesn't do HD) and it has worked flawlessly.
