Description:
Hello,

After commanding my Mac to sleep (special menu), the built-in Hard disk keeps on running during 30'.
Is it an extention making disk access during sleep command ?
Would you please give me some tips to find it. (This is not a major problem anyway)

See you.

Hi Francois.

First, make sure not to allow any applications to be open when it's sleeping the computer and make sure it's not connected to the Internet.

Second, there could be an control panel or extension making the computer not sleep. If you move several control panels or extensions out of the Control Panels or Extension folders at a time and try the sleep command, you may be able to find the culprit.

Third, try a program called Sleeper which is an alternative to the Sleep command.

If you still require assistance with this problem, feel free to email me.

Zach
