Hello

Whenever i try to access hotmail.com on my iMac G5, the safari broswer goes blank (as if it is loading) and in the address bar the address keeps changing about every 2 seconds repetitively and doesnt stop. so i cannot access my hotmail on this computer. why is it doing this and how can i make it stop? it never did it before...

Also, i was wondering if there is an easy way to quickly turn the display off my computer but not putting it to sleep, so the applications and everything runs like they would if the screen was on? please be specific because im not very technical.

Thanks

Hotmail: Try going to Safari Preferences, to the Security pane. Click Show Cookies and scroll down to the Hs; see if you can find anything for Hotmail. If so, delete it. Then, try returning to Hotmail.

If that doesn't work, you might generally have more success using Firefox instead of Safari, if for nothing other than Hotmail. You can download Firefox from mozilla.com.

Display Sleep: In System Preferences, go to the Energy Saver pane and set your display to go to sleep as you prefer.

Hey

Thanks for the check up

I did what you told me to and it works but only sometimes. If i try access my emails through MSN Messenger it doesnt work and never loads (the address in the address bar keeps changing address). So now i have to access it maunally which is a bummer. But thanks for your help.

Another thing i was wondering if you could help me with - do you know much about Elgato eyeTV for DTT? Because i am thinking of getting it. Is there many cons? And also do you have to start up your computer and run it as an application, or can you just use the remote and it comes on like a normal tv?

Thanks

I'm not familiar with EyeTV, nor with MSN's Mac support of Hotmail. Suggest you open a new request more specifically for each. Have you tried Firefox instead of Safari for Hotmail?
