I receieved a file with a .ink extension. The file contains images and added comments, I believe. Is there a way for me to open this file on my Macbook?
Thanks for the help.
.ink files aren't usually photos...rather they are Microsoft tablet pc drawing files. Information about .ink is online at
http://filext.com/detaillist.php?extdetail=INK.
To my knowledge, there is no viewer for .ink files on the mac. I recommend opening the file on a pc, if you have access to one.
Does anyone else know of a solutions?
According to Microsoft, .ink files can be opened in Microsoft Word on windows...I am not sure if it will open on the mac.
I think the answer is here:

It's either a Corel Draw Pantone Reference File, a Mimo Ink Data File (tablet), or a PDA vector file. In each case you'd probably need to open the file on a pc unless you have corel draw.
Have you tried placing it in Word on your mac?
Are you trying to use the .ink file for a project? I'm a graphic designer and might be able to help you sort out a solution.
Thanks for all the help. I opened it in XP.
