i was just wondering how to do this. I do not have a dvd drive in my lombard, so i had a friend copy tiger on to my external hd. Well when it was done it came out as a iso. I have tried changing it in terminal and that does not work. Is there a way how to do this. I need some help. Thanks Andy

Andy, welcome to macosx.com

Normally, DiskUtility can mount an ISO image

Otherwise Toast (www.roxio.com), even in its Lite free version, can mount it

Or in Terminal:
Open the Terminal
Type "mount" (without the quotes) THEN a space THEN drag the iso file where the cursor is in the Terminal window
Hit return

Regards
Philipe
