So I am not sure if this is going to sound like a really dumb questions. You can only change your region on your Mac 5 times. What if I have dvds from regions 1 & 2 and want to put both formats on my 5G iPod. How can I do this? We are a little peeved that we just spent close to $3000 on the new Mac and then $550 on the new iPod, candaian dollars, and the store that we purchased these items from are not that helpful.

Is there a way that we can set up our mac to play dvds from different regions? I don't remember how we managed to do this on our ruby iMac.

I was also wondering, I am finding that the wireless keyboard seems to be extremly sensitive. I am finding that before I know it I have typed out 4 or 5 of the same letter. Is there something that I can do to solve this problem. Or is it just me.

SO in terms of my levels, if things are pretty much spelt out in easy steps I can pretty much do things. I am not a novice, but far from an expert. I have never used pc's. I don't know how to write programs or anything like that. I love my mac, both old and new. I am just a bit upset at the lack of help that we have recently recieved from our local Apple store and would love any suggestions, help and/or sympathy to see if there is any way to accomplish this without having to fork out more money, we are feeling a bit poor right now at having spent so much in the span of 2 weeks....

Thank you,

Kat

Hi Kat,
Juz a tip on how i do a go around...
1)Download VLC or Mplayer
2)Ensure that the DVD settings on your system preferences do not load any program once the DVD is inserted
3)once the DVD is inserted, run any of the proprams and load the video_ts folder and flip thru each one..
it is troublesome but it gets the job done.

As for the keyboard..
can't really be of much help...perhaps adjusting your typing pattern? kidding.. :P

Regards
