two issues,

1st I cannot seem to update an open ticket with new website format?

2nd, i installed new hard drive 200gb but can only see 128gb, refernece book says to check apple id 86178 - but no information there to do partition. It says that 10.3.9 should be able to do 3Tb partition?

So how do I configure the new drive to not waste 80gb??

When I start the ppc I get message to initialise the new drive which I ejected till I understand what to do...

Hi John

The Quicksilver 733MHz machine only supports drives up to 128GB. You would have to add an ATA/IDE PCI controller card to use a larger drive. There is no way to use the entire drive on your machine other than that.

Sorry about not being able to update a ticket. The new site is still being regined.

thanks Bobw

Here is it what i decided to do, i went ahead and did format and installed OSX and updated now I have two HD 40 and 128Gb.

Do i need to open new ticket for these issues i would like to do. i would the ability to use os9.2

1. 40gb hard disk did have os9.2 it does not work since disk failure.

2. When I installed/formatted 128gb I selected os9.2 format ability.

I have a 9.2 install disk, i believe I have a 9.2 image disk.

What is best way to restore and if possible instructions how to do it.

thanks again
John
