I have a query as to how one is supposed to uninstall an application from MAC OS X. Some dmg packages of software just need the application to be dragged to the APPLICATION folder whereas a few gets automatically installed in Application folder. I understand that the one that are dragged can be just moved to trash, but what about the others which gets installed automatically. I have just recently shifted to MAC from windows in which there used to an uninstall option to remove the s/w & all its registeries. Can some one please guide me.

Nothing free that I know of. There are a bazillion books available on OS X. Search for them at Amazon.com.
