TICKET ARCHIVE -> Hp 1280 Deskjet, Cant Run In Classic

I have mac g4 running osx 10.2.8 and os 9 classic.
i have new hp 1280 desk jet, cant print from classic (printer not in chooser). runs in osx, but not os 9.
is this printer only compatable with osx, or is there a driver i can get for os9, all my applications run in classic (quark, acrobat etc.)

Hi Ron,

I'm sorry to be the one with the bad news but your printer is only ready for O/S X.x. I checked the drivers page and there is nothing for classic 9 or O/S 9. Sorry

Thanks eddy, for your trouble.
i can print if i turn work to pdf's
and print out through acrobat

Sorry there are no drivers for that printer in system 9.
