Description:
1st question :
I just downloaded an script with a .ist.hqx extension. When I click on the file, it says something like 'first use binhex 4.0 to ... '
I believe files with such extensions are compressed file (like zip files). Where can I get a small utility to uncompress these files?

2nd question :
Can I download those .hqx files or .sit files to a pc first , then transfer them to a Mac ? What's the easiest way to do this, do I need any extra software ?

3rd question :
Is there any way to connect a PC and a Mac to exchange files, like a cable to cable connection ? I have a starmax 4000 by the way.

Welcome to NoWonder Tech Support! I'm Dave. :-)

1. Use Stuffit Expander to open them. Go here for it www.shareware.com

2. Yes. Just put them on a floppy on your PC and then stick the floppy in your Mac to use them. Your Mac will read a PC formated floppy. :-)

3. No can do. :-( Just have to use the floppy.
