Knowledge Level: Intermediate
Problem: Combination
Computer Type: iMac - Release A
Model:
RAM: 65+
RAM Enhancer: None
OS Version: MacOS 8.5.1

Description:
My system configuration is an iMac connected via USB port (lower) to a Macally 4-port hub. Attached to the hub are a UMAX Astra 1220U, Epson 740, iMation Super Disk and QuickCam.

Problem: After doing a "Shutting Down", iMac restarts itself. I have set the above configuration with only one device and using the Extension Manager to use only the drivers of one device and "System 8.5.1 all" extension and it will still restart itself.

When using above configuration all devices work fine except when I shut-down. I have tried switching ports. The top USB port on the iMac, as well as the keyboard port do not work properly with the hub. These port can only see one device through the hub.

Please advise.
