For example, I wanted to go to Yahoo Music and stream radio and I got this message.

The page “http://radio.music.yahoo.com/radio/p...ned&sourceID=” has content of MIME type “application/x-oleobject”. Because you don’t have a plug-in installed for this MIME type, this content can’t be displayed.

What do I need to do to be able to use this and other websites?

Sorry, we do not support LAUNCHcast Radio on the Mac OS.
Unfortunately, this is another case of compatibility ignorance on Yahoo's part. LAUNCHcast requires Windows Media Player, which has not been developed for OS X in years. Furthermore, the player quits as soon as it discovers you are using OS X, so Flip4Mac doesn't get a chance to run. I suggest you complain directly to Yahoo music.

For other sites that require Windows Media Player, you can use Flip4Mac

Thanks for letting me know. Do you think that I should download flip4mac for any other compatability issues.

Flip4mac handles most of what WMP does, one big example would be .avi files. It's a good thing to have if you want to play media files.
