Dear Brittany,

My name is Vinko and I will attempt to assist you.

It sounds like you are trying to access a file that is located in a folder that has a different permission than your account.

How many user accounts do you have on your Mac? In what path is this folder, you're trying to access, located?

Regards,

-- Vinko
