I've been told that I need a Grammar checker-badly!
Any ideas about this software for an old mac user There use to be one during the OS 6/7 period.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Seems you do, as you used a hyphen (-) instead of an em-dash (—). If you're not using Word (I certainly hope not, as an old Mac user), there are two to choose from these days, according to VersionTracker: Grammatica and Grammarian. Grammarian is looking like the better.
