TICKET ARCHIVE -> Ibook Cannot Boot

I have an IBook laptop, all the sudden when I turn it on after the apple logo appears, it shows a blue folder with a ? mark.

I tried to boot into the OSX Panther installation CD but somehow does not recognize the CD, any ideas on what can I do to boot the machine?
