I have refreshed my Redskins calendar but do not receive the 2007-8 season, just the 2006 season exists. I tried all
Apple iCal methods (search on calendar, etc.), to no avail. I even redownloaded the calendar from Mac -- nothing. Ideas?

Is the calendar you downloaded from Apple identical to this from iCal World. Have you confirmed with the creator that the next season is on this calendar?

Yes, it was. Since then, I have deleted the Redskins calendar and downloaded one from iCal World. Still no new season. How do I confirm with creator that the next season is on this calendar?

There's one more thing you can check. Your calendars are stored in ~/Library/Application Support/iCal/Sources/. Inside each folder is an Info.plist file you can open with TextEdit (or the editor of your choice).
The second string, associated with the Title key, is the name of the calendar. Find the one titled as your Redskins calendar. Delete the parent source folder. Restart iCal and try to subscribe to the calendar again.
If the new season still isn't there, the creator probably never updated it and we can more than likely assume that you'll have to find another source. It's not likely a problem with iCal.
