TICKET ARCHIVE -> iChat agent crashes sending file

The iChat agent crashes every time I try to send a file, any file, to anyone. I have the crash logs, and I get a window that says that I need to restart iChat and the agent will start again.

Make sure your iChat is up to date. If it is, let me know. This was a known issue in previous versions.

Version 3.1.7 V444

Seems to be up to date, perhaps there is some framework below that is out of whack? I've been able to send files in the past. This a more recent issue.
