TICKET ARCHIVE -> Ichat And Yahoo Messenger

I currently have a new IBook G4 and my webcam works well it iChat. My iChat software runs through a free account on AOL. My sister, however, has Yahoo messenger. What do I need to do to communicate with her from her Yahoo messenger account. I assume I need to get a Yahoo messenger account too, but the download is "unrecognizable" with a *.bin extension. My computer only sees it as a screwed up *.xls file. Without messing with Yahoo mesenger, can I communicate with her through iChat and my AOL account?

Hi Jenny

Yahoo messenger sucks on the Mac, and hasn't been updated in a couple years.

If your sister's on a PC (Windows System) have her get the ;atest version of AIM;

for the PC. You can then video conference with ther using iChat on your side.

As for the 'bin' extension, this is a Stuffit compressed file that has to be expanded. You can get the free version of Stuffit's Expander here;
