which ports do I really have to open for tcp and udp to make iChat AV work, using the built-in firewall.
(sorry for asking this again, but I found many different answers to this on the forums).
Thanks,
Jan

Hi Jan,
Here's a list of ALL portsnumbers (TCP and UDP) used by iChat/iChat AV:
Starting with the TCP portnumbers:
5190 - iChat/AOL File Transfer
5222 - iChat/AOL Jabber Messaging
5297 - iChat via Bonjour (formerly Rendezvous)
5298 - iChat via Bonjour (formerly Rendezvous)
And now the UDP portnumber:
5060 - iChat Session Initialization Protocol (SIP)
5190 - iChat/AOL/IM File transfer
5298 - iChat via Bonjour (formerly Rendezvous)
16384 - 16404 - iChat RTP/RTCP (for audio and video)
I hope this answers your question.
