There are 2 questions:

I would like my AIM status (iChat bubble in the menu bar) to show that I'm availible when I turn on my computer without launching iChat.

Also how can I capture the video in iChat (from my iSight camera) to send via email to someone that is not online?

Thanks in advance,
Brandon

Hi Brandon

In iChat's preferences, check Show Status in Menu Bar. Once in the Menu Bar, check Available. Not sure if it will show you as available after a log out or restart, so give it a try. If it doesn't, you;'ll have to do it manually if you log out or restart.

As for recording a video session, you'll need a program like Snapz Pro;

Thanks for the reply ..... It does not keep you logged in after a restart. I was looking to set it up without manually clicking available.

As for the recording video, I will check out Snapz Pro.

Try adding iChat to the Startup Items. When you log out or shut down, if your Buddy list window is open, close it and when you log in it should show Available.
