Hello again

My son in Germany has an iBook with macosx 10.2.8 and ichat 1.0.
Is there any possibility to connect with my iMac G5, Tiger 10.4.2 and do some video conferencing?

Thanks for posting your question.

iChat is a great way to keep in touch via video -- especially overseas. Unfortunately iChat 1.0 does not support audio or video chat. To do video chat with your son, you might consider upgrading to Tiger (10.4) and getting an iSight camera.

However, before you do this make sure that his iBook will support the system requirements for Tiger and iChat AV. They both have some hefty requirements. You son, of course, would also require a good broadband or DSL connection.
