TICKET ARCHIVE -> icons on taskbar

DESCRIPTION:
I downloaded IE 4.01 SP1 from microsoft site. With it came the new desktop feature that allows you to add shortcuts onto your taskbar (not start up by clock but to the left of start button) Anyhow when you download this program it starts you off with three icons I added more for my personal use when browsing. Everything was fine then one time I start my computer and the icons on the taskbar are gone! I cannot find them. I went back to download the program but it still does not correct itself. Any suggestions or solutions?

Tom,
The icons on the taskbar are shortcuts so what you could try doing is drag an icon to the taskbar using the right mouse button and when you let go of the mouse button there should be an option to creat shortcut here. Click on that and that should put an icons on your taskbar.
