Hi, how are you?
I just bought a new LaCie discwriter for my mac (i bought the mac without the burning ability). I made a movie and used iDVD to put together with a menu. Though, iDVD seems to only let you burn stuff if your burner is built in the computer. I'm not sure if that's true though. If it isn't, how do I burn my iDVD project using this external burner?

This would be a reason to upgrade to iLife 05. The version 5 iDVD will recognize and burn to external DVD burners. Older versions of iDVD will not.
