Hi
I have come across a problem with my power pc G4. I use this computer for iPhoto,iTunes, iMovie, and iDvd.
I have recently upgraded my OS to 10.4.9 and I have been told that I am maxed out on the amount of Ram I can use so I was unable to upgrade to iLife.
Now I have iMovie 4.0.1 and iDVD 2.1 and I have just figured out that I can't turn anything into a burned disc since they aren't compatable anymore.
Is there anyway to make my computer more functionable for what I want to use it for without buying a new one?
Thanks

You were told incorrectly about the system requirements for iLife '06.
Here's the good info - http://www.apple.com/ilife/systemrequirements.html

You will be on the lower 'edge' for performance, but everything should work OK.

Make sure that you leave plenty of free space on your hard drive. You will find that DVD burning may not work if you have less than 5 GB free space.

How do I find out how much free space I have left?
And if it isn't enough, what should I unistall to gain enough space?
Again, I really only use iPhoto, iMovie, iTunes, iDVD, Word and Excel.
thanks so much
