Description:
I have just experienced a number of crashes with Internet Explorer 4.5 and Sherlock. If IE is opened and I also open Sherlock and perform a search, it's either that Sherlock crashes (error type3) or IE crashes after I try to save a page "as text" or print something (error type1).
When Explorer crashes it usually destroys my desktop database and I have to rebuild it every time.
But it definetly has to do with Sherlock and IE open at the same time. I already allocated more memory to both programs (I have virtual mermory turned off). Closing Sherlock again doesn't do the trick. Once it has been opened, IE starts to behave strangely.
This is the first time I am experiencing such a problem. I have been running both programs for many weeks now without any problems.
Thanks in advance.

Hi welcome to Nowonder
I found this at the
http://www.macfixit.com site.
"Sherlock Chip Russell notes that Explorer will not work with Sherlock unless Sherlock
is in its default location in the Apple Menu Items folder (confirmed by Microsoft)."
If you wish to read up on other issue with IE you can go there and just scroll down the page to where it says Trouble shooting IE. Best regards sharona@nowonder
