TICKET ARCHIVE -> Illstrator Cs/ Mac Os 10.4.2

hi,

i have justed installed illustraotr cs on mac os 10.4.2 and am having problems with saving the file.

i keep getting error id= -43

basiacally will not allow to save the file!

i have re-installed the software and also managed to get another copy of it which i have tried. no success!

can you pls help asap.

Looks like they had to reinstall Illustrator CS twice in order to get the error to go away.

A workaround is to save as illustrator eps or to remove pdf compatibility in your files.

Let me know if the workarounds work for you. if not, you might try reinstalling Illustrator. However, try deleting the .pref (preference) file first for Illustrator (save it on your desktop and restart illustrator so it creates a new pref file, then delete the old pref file if all goes well).

search for "illustrator" then move the illustrator.pref file to a folder on your desktop called DELETE THIS (you create this folder to save the file temporarily, just in case) then restart illustrator. Illustrator creates a new preference file and hopefully your problem will be resolved.
