Hello!
I have a problem with files saved in Illustrator. I can see the preview of the last saved file on the thumbnail, but when i click on it to open the old file appears.
Help please!
THNX!

Are you saving the CS file to a network or a hard drive?
Are you opening a file that's already open by any chance?
Need more data to help you fully.

Hello Nat!
Thnx for the reply first. Yes, i am saving the files on the network and there is also the possibility that these files are open at the same time by another person, since the company is quite big and everyone has the access to these files. What do u suggest. Can i get the corrected, (last saved version) still back or should i in the future just make the safety copies on my computer...

Ah, your problem is now clear. You cannot have multiple users working on the same file at the same time. As each person has their own version saved temporarily as an open file on their computer and they save their version to the same communal file, the file will change according to whomever saved over it last.
You should probably either save your own version of the file and let everyone know not to save over it, or save it directly to your desktop for your own use.
Also, you should probably institute some sort of procedures for your system. If this is how your file management works, you're going to have big problems down the road. Imagine finishing a project only to have it resaved to a previous version by someone else! That would not be good.
I always make a BUJIC folder for all my mechanical (ie. InDesign, Illustrator) files so if anything gets corrupted I can go back to the BUJIC file.
Hope this helps!

Thank you Nat! I will avoid being comfortable saving the file on the intranet and do my "backup".

Okay! You might also review how your company uses its server. Having multiiple people working on almost any type of file is not usually a good idea…
glad I could help!
