hi ive been using adobe illustrator cs2 and i cant open my document, it says cant open illustration, the illustration contains an illegal operand. offending operator "867556.3;379e9818". and then after context:, it has a line of about 30 numbers, does anyone know of a way to recover this document or to fix this problem so i can view my illustration?

Howdy!

Need more info: What OS X are you using? Did you recently upgrade or did you buy the CS2 program as a stand-alone app? Is your document stored on a server or your local hard drive? Does the doc have any placed images?

Okay, first to fix this I'd search for "illustrator" and move the .plist and .pref files you find to your desktop. Restart Illustrator and see if you can open the document. Make a duplicate of the document and open that so you don't do any further damage.
