Description:
I just bought an iMac today, and installed AOL v. 3.0, (because I already have a pre-paid account with aol).
I'm having frequent system freezes whenever I go on the internet, and have to restart the iMAC manually. How can I deal with this? Is it a problem because I've chosen NOT to use the iMac's preinstalled internet company/software?

AOL 4.0 should have come with the iMac and should work correctly for you. The 3.0 software probably does not support the builtin iMAC modem.
