Description:
I have downloaded this update to my usb driver for my Imation Superdisk. When I try to apply it to my system I get a message saying that this update should only be applied if I have the following: iMac OS ROM Update 1.1 if OS is 8.5.1. I have OS 8.5.1 but: 1. I don't know if I have the iMac OS ROM update 1.1? and 2. How do I get it?

Hi John ...John Roach here...try looking in your Apple System Profiler...under the Apple Menu...for your I-Mac ROM Version...if your I-Mac came with System 8.5.1 you shouldn't need the update...most updaters won't work (or mess things up) if they are not needed...if in doubt and your not having any problems...don't do it...and you can't get a ROM update...(it's part of your hardware/Motherboard) hope this helps...JR
