Hi Anaelitz
Not sure if this will help this problem, but try trashing the .plist files for Image Capture.
They're located here;
user>library>preferences>byhost
Their may be two or three. Trash each without emptying the trash and then try Image Capture.

Thanks Bob, but it did not work. Do you have any other suggestions?

Trash that plist file again and put the Image Capture program in the trash, don't empty yet.
Then you can reinstall the program from the Tiger disk.
Insert the Mac OS X Install disc that came with your computer.
Double-click "Install Bundled Software Only."
Follow the onscreen instructions as follows:
1. Select the destination.
2. Click Continue.
3. Click Upgrade to install all the applications or click Customize to select which packages to install.
4. If you click Customize, you'll see a list of applications that you can select to install, or deselect to not install
5. Use Customize and only select Image Capture.
