i have a .mac acct and use the mac mail application. i have several mail accounts and want a different image for each. i talking about the small picture in the upper right hand corner of an email message. there is a bird nest there now and that is not what my mac account picture is. it is driving me crazy. and do these photos show up at the receivers end?

The image is stored in your personal Address Book card. You can't have more than one image among different accounts, at least in this setup. (I don't know if there's a workaround.) Recipients will see the image if their email clients support its display.
