Hi there,
I have been trying to install imlib2 (for enlightenment and a few other) for a week now!

a weird compile error shows up during make..

Seems like it is related to the architecure of the intel cpu.

anyone has come across this on MacBook Pro ?

VERY FRUSTRATING!

Thanks in advance
Pat

I dont have any idea what software that is, but with Intel Macs be careful! If you buy software, where it says MAC, then it only works with PowerPC Macs (iBook, eMac, old iMac etc.) If it says Universal, then it works for MacBook Pro and the new iMac.

Hi There,

well.. hum.. thanks for your tip.

imlib should be compiling either way.... it is a library/app that allows for a bunch of stuff to happend with graphics etc..

So when you install things like Eterm or enlightenment etc etc you can actually see something on-screen ;-)

By the way with Rosetta many apps. will work on Intel Mac too...

Did ou try to install imlib2 on other Macs?
If it works on other Macs, then the disk is ok.
If it doesnt work on any other Mac, then I would go to the store where you bought it and return it for a new one.

Return the Mac for a new one?..

This sounds a little extreme. Why do you think it should be returned?... Something wrong with the disk?

Please explain I would appreciate.
