Hi all. Our yoga studio database is in Filemaker Pro 9.2, from whence I can print labels, class lists, etc. We are running OS 9.2 and OS 10.2.8 on an old beige desktop Power Mac G3 with a 400 mgh processor. I desperately need to import our email addresses from Filemaker Pro into the Mail/Addressbook program in OSX. I have tried exporting them from Filemaker in most of the formats, but none seem to import into Mail. Please help or let me know if you need more information. Namaste, Dorothy

Thanks for your advice. I will not be at work to try out your suggestions until Mon Oct 2. Of course the responses on Version Tracker have been very helpful as they reveal the problems with the apps suggested. I will reply again on Oct 2 whether or not the problem at work is resolved. Thanks for the suggestions. Yogatech

Hi good people. I have checked out everything you recommended. One of the aps on Version Tracker only lets you move 5 addresses before telling you to pay $10 and wait for a password to come by mail. A second app could not open our old version of Filemaker Pro, and the link to Filemaker Pro only deals with new versions of FP. I will follow up on an ap that a reviewer described after he got fed up with the first highjacking ap. In addition, I will inquire on the Filemaker Pro site whether if we buy a new version of Filemaker Pro, I can upgrade my data to it and hope it works better with Mail and Addressbook in OSX. That's all I know right now. Yogatech

Hi gentlepeople, The only way I was able to get our addresses from Filemaker 2.1 into the Mac Address Book which requires V-card import was to download a program called Palm, import into it and export as V-Cards. The source of this idea was a person who negatively reviewed one of the translators you gave me because the guy let you import 5 addresses, then charged $10 to send a password by mail so that you could import the rest. I'm sure you can find the details from your answers to me. I'd actually like to thank him. Thanks for giving me some leads to follow. Best, Dorothy
