I have
Mac OSX 10.3.9
iMovie 4.0.1
QuickTime Pro 7.1.3
Flip4Mac 2.1
I have been able to use WMV files downloaded from the web in iMovie projects. I am sure I used to be able to import mpg files as well, but recently I have not been able to do so.
Is the answer the QuickTime MPEG-2 playback component?
I don't want to spend $19.99 if it doesn't do the job.
