Description:
Is there any way I can change the inactivity disconnect time while surfing the net. on my imac modem. I looked at every possible way of changing it but can't find any. I used to use free ppp on my 7600 and could adjust the time. There are times when I'm reading a document thast takes a while that I will automatically disconnect. A rael Pain!!!

Thanks for giving us here at No Wonder the opportunity to answer your
question. I am Nevin of the No Wonder Mac Staff.
There are a couple of things you can do. You can have your computer check your e-mail automatically every 2 minutes which the ISP considers activity or you can download and use Freeppp 2.6.2 from the download.com link below. You don't mention which browser you are using as that can make a difference too. Let me know if I can be of additional assistance.
