Knowledge Level: I'm New!
Problem: Other
Computer Type: Apple
Model: 6500/250
RAM: 32meg
RAM Enhancer: None
OS Version: MacOS 8

Description:
All my incoming e-mail has an incorrect "Sent" year date (1919, not 1999) and also incorrect day date (sometimes showing the letter was sent after I receive it). My Internet provider (earthlink) has tried various solutions, to no avail. It has been suggested that Claris Emailer Lite, my e-mail program, is failing to keep up with the times...perhaps the Y2K dilemma? Would appreciate comments on this problem of mine, especially if anyone else is having the same problem with dates using Claris Emailer Lite.

Hello, welcome to Nowonder Free Tech Support, I'm robertw.
This isn't a Y2K problem. That wouldn't occur until we hit 2000. Claris is Y2K compliant anyway.
This is most likely a problem with either your computer not keeping the correct date and time, or the sender or sender's ISP.
