how's it going?
How Do I initialize my system drive on a Mac G4 running OS 10.2.6 before I reinstall my OS.
I can't find info on how to do it on anything later than OS 9. Is it even a necessary step in OS 10? Pleaase Help.

When you start the installer, you will see a screen where you select the drive. click the options button, and choose to erase the drive. That will do what you want.
