Knowledge Level: Beginner

Problem: No Problem
Computer Type: American something something
Model: 486DX66
RAM: Not related
OS Flavor: Red Hat 5.2

Description:

Greetings No Wonder -

I have an old 486 I want to bring back to life. I plan to install Red Hat's Linux 5.2 version instead of any Windows OS, because of the lackluster hardware on my 486.

So far I reformatted and wiped out everything off the hard drive and only have MS-DOS 6.22 left. I purchased a CD copy of Linux. The problem is how to access my CD-Rom. I believe it was on labeled e: but I haven't been unable to access the CD drive. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi, do you have another computer? You need to write 2 floppy images onto
a floppy from the CD (if your CD copy didn't come with actual floppies),
1 to boot from and the other to start the install process.
