TICKET ARCHIVE -> Installing 10.2 On G3

I have a Beige G3 with 384 of RAM on it. I have the discs of 10.2 and when I reboot while pressing the "C" Key I can boot from the Cd fine. The Installer then pops up and I go thru the whole thing. When it tells me installation is complete so it reboots. When it reboots it just gets to a screen with a floppy disk and there is a question mark on it. What should I do? Thanks

Sometimes zapping the pram will help. Hold cmd+opt+p+r after you hear the chime let go after 3 chimes.

I did that and it still doesn't work.

Hmm, try using disk utility on the install disk. Then do a repair disk. If that doesn't work you could try erasing the drive.

I still did that and it doesn't work. anyway I got the Os9.2 Cd from a friend and when I installed it it installed it fine. Then when I went to reboot it just cointiually reboots itself. Where is the disk utility on the OS 9 CD? Thank you for all of your help.

I'm not sure where it is exactly on os 9.

Do you know somebody who know or who can help me as I got rid of the OSX cds so now all I have is the Os 9.2 cd.
