TICKET ARCHIVE -> Installing Adobe Indesign 2 on EMac running OSX/Classic

Hey and I hope you can assist me!

I am considering purchasing Adobe Indesign 2 software. Can you confirm that as my EMac 1.42ghz runs OSX 'Tiger' and 'Classic' that allow applications to be run that are compatible with OS 9, that this software will run effectively. Will it also work in conjunction with Photoshop 7 ?

Howdy!

InDesign 2 was installable in OS 9 and OS X so you're good either way. I'd install it as OS X.

You can run Photoshop 7 in classic/OS 9.

Since the two programs are independent of each other (separate apps) you can run both at the same time. Now the "Edit Original" feature for placed graphic in InDesign 2 you might have to tell it to use Photoshop 7 (Classic), but it should just find your most recent copy of Adobe Photoshop program (in this case 7) on your hard drive.
