OK so i have been looking on how to install dmg files on a mac OS 9. Ive tyred stuff-it but it does not work i really need step by step instruction on how to install these files. or if some one could tell me a program that could install they files.

I am sorry to dissapoint you, but is impossible to open a .dmg file on Mac OS 9. you could open the file on a Mac OS X machine and then copy the files within it to a CD or other media, but as for opening the .dmg file on OS 9, you just can't.

but is there any way to convert it to a different kind of file or installer that can handle a dmg file. that can work for it. i was just wondering.
