I just recently got Falcon 4.0 for my Macbook. When i go to open and install it it comes up with a message saying "You cannot open the application "Falcon 4.0 Installer" because the classic environment is no longer supported. I would like to find out how to, if possible, to get around this problem to be able to install the game.

The Classic environment will not run in Leopard.
It's also not supported on a Mac with an Intel processor.
It's _possible_ with sheepsaver, and one or two other emulator solutions.

By far the easiest way back to Classic, is to have a Mac that runs Classic, and the best would be a Mac that can boot natively to OS 9. It's a good reason to keep an older Mac around.

So can or can it not be done?
If so how?

The short answer is - No, it can't be done
The longer answer is - No, it can't be done, unless you try one of the methods referenced in the article that I linked.

Did you read the article?

Ya I read it, didnt quite understand all of it. I'm a little new to Mac's this is my first one and i got it like two months ago or so.
But is what you are saying is that if I go and do those things with SheepSaver and stuff that I can get it to work?

I mean from what you are saying it sounds like that if I do this it will work, but I need to be told, shown, or walked through on how to do this.

If you don't understand the article, then it may not be worth doing...
I only offer it as a possible choice, and a choice that you may find bewildering to get to work.... (as it is for me, too!)

If you read the article again, I think you will notice that none of the solutions (Sheepshaver, Basilisk, and Mini vMac) run very well on an Intel Mac. My own opinion (for what it's worth) is that the emulation provided by the various solutions is interesting for a hobby, but for BEST results - find an older Mac that will do what you want natively, such as an older G4 tower. A G3 iMac will run your games very nicely, without the unstable crashing that you may get from SheepShaver, for example.

so basically send game back and hope the other one i ordered works.

Don't order games that you 'hope' will work. You can discover how old some games are. One sold before 2000 (such as that Falcon 4.0 - released in 1999) will be unlikely to work. Some have had PPC patches, which would allow a game to work, unless the game no longer works with newer versions of OS X.
Some of the Mac gaming sites do have compatibility lists for a variety of programs and games. Falcon 4 was never updated to a PPC version, so that one is dead for you.

What's the other game that you ordered?
