I need to install Pyro in my Mac (10.4.2), but I haven't been able to find the instruction on the web. I have Python 2.4.1 (I install it using the MacPython-OSX-2.4.1.dmg). When I do $whereis python, I get: /usr/bin/python, hope this helps.

My problem is that I'm very new to all this programing and computer world, and I don't know much (almost nothing) about the Unix commands. If you can help me I will appreciated greatly.

I think the manual that comes with the Pyro distribution covers the installation.
You can also read that online here - http://pyro.sourceforge.net/manual/3-install.html
The location of Python is where it is installed by default, as it always comes with OS X, and you already had a good version (2.3.3) that could already run Pyro once that is installed.
If you have no clue about how to proceed, maybe there is someone you could contact locally, perhaps at a university
