TICKET ARCHIVE -> installing softwares

I have downloaded programs with *.sit as their extension. When i open them, i am being asked for an application to open it up with.
can you please advise how can i install these application? thanks,

Mac OS X no longer comes with Stuffit Expander preinstalled. You need to download it from http://www.allume.com/downloads/file...Expander10.dmg and install.
