Hi,
I am still having trouble installing TIGER on my G3 Mac. It is a ibook Power PC 750 (2.3) and I have recently upgraded the RAM to 640KB which I believe is the max for this model.I have the Power PC version of the discs which I believe should work however when I try to install it says that this system cannot be installed on this mac. I have also tried installing through Xpostfactor but no joy here too! Any ideas???

I think the set of disks you have is grey, and not black. Where did you get those disks? They will be the restore disks that shipped with another Mac. You usually can't install a restore set on a different model Mac.
If you want to install Tiger, find a black installer disk. That's the commercial OS X install.
